Meet our favorite Manolo-wearing activist
In case you haven’t heard, there’s an election tomorrow. And if Mandana Dayani has anything to do with it, the turnout will shatter records.
A corporate lawyer turned talent agent turned businesswoman, Dayani has fully shifted into activist mode through I am a voter., a non-partisan, non-preachy campaign to encourage civic engagement through voting (because self-expression at the ballot box is too important to skip). Here, Dayani shares a look into how a typical day of get-out-the-vote hustle begins and ends. She has just one request for Rose Inc. readers. “My only wish of anyone reading this: vote November 6.”
Text VOTER to 26797 for up-to-the-minute election information, including how to check your registration status, request an absentee ballot, find your polling place, and volunteer to get out the vote.

Pajamas by Lunya.

I immediately take a shower. I then get dressed for the day so I can be ready to spend as much time with my daughters as possible before I take my oldest, Anderson, to school.
WHAT’S THE FIRST THING YOU DO WITH YOUR PHONE?
I check the news. I am currently obsessively following many tight races in the upcoming elections (the midterms are Tuesday, November 6) so I always check poll numbers when I wake up.

The New York Times, Washington Post, CNN, Wired, The Hollywood Reporter, and Instagram (if that counts)
WHAT’S ON YOUR BEDSIDE TABLE?
La Mer lip balm, Celine eyeglasses, Slip scrunchies, books for me and my daughters, my IWC watch, an I am a voter. pin, and several vintage collectibles. I may or may not have an emergency bag of Cheetos in my drawer.
